Expanded Duties and Responsibilities

Performing and executing all tasks assigned to gain the necessary exposure to obtain the skills and competencies as required by the SAIPA Professional Accountancy Training Program.

Conducting independent reviews and compilation engagements for clients.

Preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with applicable reporting standards i.e. IFRS for SMEs.

Computation of corporate, trusts, and individual tax liability in terms of the Income Tax Act.

Completion and submission of income tax returns via SARS e-filing for companies, trusts, and individuals.

Calculating provisional taxes for companies, trusts, and individuals.

Assisting clients with full-function bookkeeping, monthly management accounts, VAT calculations (VAT201), and CIPC secretarial duties.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree (studying towards or completed a SAIPA-accredited degree or equivalent BCom / National Diploma in Accounting meeting SAIPA’s core subject requirements).
