SAIPA Post-Article Accountant

C2M is a medium-sized audit and accounting firm based in Tygervalley, Bellville. We have an exciting opportunity available for a Post-Article SAIPA Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who has completed SAIPA articles and is ready to manage a client portfolio in a supportive, professional environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate accounting, tax and advisory support to a portfolio of clients. Key duties include preparing annual financial statements, submitting VAT and income tax returns, calculating provisional tax, performing independent reviews, and liaising with SARS.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients

• Compilation of annual financial statements

• Perform Independent reviews

• Submission of monthly VAT

• Calculate income tax for individuals, companies and trusts

• Calculate provisional taxes

• Liaise with SARS

• Submission of income tax returns for companies, individuals and trusts

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A recognized degree

• Completed SAIPA articles

• Computer literate: Outlook, Word, Excel etc

• Caseware experience

• Xero and Pastel experience

• Own car and driver’s license

• Strong attention to detail

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

Package & Remuneration

Market related based on experience and qualifcations
