Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include but is not limited to
- Capture transactions in accounting records
- Perform reconciliations
- Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet
- Prepare financial statements
- Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
- Complete VAT submissions and calculations
- Perform general accounting functions
- Assist managers with various client matters, including administrative work
- Payroll duties
- PAYE calculations and submissions
- CIPC registrations, queries, and submissions
- Advising clients
- Perform audit tasks
- Assist managers in identifying material issues
- Be proactive in obtaining reliable and sufficient evidence for all audit procedures
- Uphold company ethics and values and act with integrity
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom Accounting - studying or completed or
- Candidates qualified to progress to CTA, or In the process of doing CTA
- Candidates wishing to cede articles
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
- Own vehicle is also essential
Package & Remuneration
R8,000 to R12,000 per month depending on qualification
