We are seeking a motivated and professional SAICA Trainee Accountant / Article Clerk to join our audit and accounting team.
The successful candidate will complete their SAICA training contract while gaining practical experience across a broad range of clients and industries. The position provides exposure to auditing, accounting, taxation and other professional services while developing the technical and professional competencies required to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting with external audits and assurance engagements
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Performing accounting and bookkeeping work
- Tax compliance
Desired Requirements & Qualification
- Completed BCom Accounting or relevant accounting degree, or currently at least in 2nd year
- Intention to complete a SAICA training contract
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Own transport and valid driver's licence advantageous
