Your Role as a SAICA Trainee Accountant

This role is designed for first year trainees ready to embark on their SAICA training contract, ensuring they acquire the competencies required to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Duties & Responsibilities

Your exposure will include

• Audit, financial reporting, and risk management within a high-performing investment space

• Corporate finance, fund accounting, and portfolio analysis

• IFRS compliance and financial statement preparation

• Structured training aligned with SAICA's competency framework

• Guidance from seasoned CAs (SA) and finance professionals

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Completed SAICA-accredited undergraduate qualification

• Studying towards a SAICA-accredited postgraduate qualification (PGDA/CTA)

• Strong academic performance and passion for finance

• Highly analytical with exceptional communication skills

• Committed to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (SA)

• Must be  based in Cape Town or willing to relocate
