Are you looking to start or continue your SAICA training journey within a professional accounting environment? We are looking for motivated and driven SAICA Trainees to join a well-established accounting firm in Sandton.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are eager to gain valuable practical experience, develop their technical accounting skills and work towards their professional qualification within a supportive environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Assisting with accounting and financial reporting duties for a portfolio of clients
- Completing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with audit and assurance-related assignments
- Preparing working papers and supporting documentation
- Assisting with tax and compliance-related matters
- Performing analytical reviews and investigating variances
- Liaising with clients regarding accounting and financial matters
- Gaining practical exposure to various accounting and auditing functions
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant Accounting Degree
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a SAICA training contract
- CTA completed or in progress
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Previous exposure to an accounting or auditing environment advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Eager to learn and develop professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
