Our client is seeking motivated and ambitious SAICA/SAIPA Trainees to join their professional team in Century City. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to begin or progress their professional training while gaining valuable practical experience within a supportive accounting environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of accounting records and financial information.
- Gain practical exposure to accounting, auditing and taxation functions.
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Perform accounting reconciliations and general accounting duties.
- Assist with tax compliance and statutory requirements.
- Support audit and accounting engagements as required.
- Maintain accurate and organised client documentation.
- Communicate with clients and team members in a professional manner.
- Meet required deadlines and maintain a high standard of work.
- Participate actively in training, development and performance feedback.
- Work towards achieving the relevant SAICA/SAIPA training requirements and competencies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant BCom Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must meet the academic requirements to pursue SAICA or SAIPA training/articles.
- Genuine interest in developing a career in accounting.
- Strong academic and analytical ability.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a professional team environment.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Commitment to completing the required SAICA/SAIPA training programme.
