Our client based in Pinetown is on the search for SAICA Articles Trainees.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Perform various assurance and non-assurance engagements (External audits of financial statements, agreed upon procedures, independent reviews, compilations)
● Perform administrative tasks (Timesheets, record of hours, SAICA skills reviews, work in progress updates)
● Travel to clients in and around the Durban and greater Durban area.
● Ad hoc tax and accounting tasks
Desired Experience & Qualification
● Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (must be a SAICA accredited degree) – 3-year article term
● Strong understanding of foundational accounting and auditing principles as covered during secondary and tertiary education phases.
● Own vehicle (advantageous)
● Accounting/audit experience (advantageous)
