Detail: Responsibilities Assist with external audit assignments and the preparation of audit working papers Support the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts Assist with tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns Work closely with clients under the guidance of senior team members Maintain the SAICA training logbook and complete all competency requirements Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties as required Requirements Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting degree or equivalent SAICA-accredited qualification completed or currently in progress Strong academic record Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills being advantageous Experience with or exposure to Pastel Accounting and Xero will be advantageous Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted. show more...
