Detail: Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Currently enrolled in or completed a SAICA-accredited BCom Accounting, BCompt, CTA, PGDA or equivalent qualification Already enrolled in or eligible to continue a SAICA training contract Strong academic record Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills High attention to detail with a willingness to learn Key Responsibilities Assist with external and internal audit assignments Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation Draft annual financial statements Perform bookkeeping and reconciliations Assist with VAT, PAYE, income tax and other tax compliance Prepare management accounts Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and resolve queries Maintain accurate records and ensure SAICA competency requirements are met Work as part of an audit team and meet deadlines Advantageous Knowledge of IFRS and auditing principles Experience with Xero, Sage, Pastel or similar accounting software Experience with CaseWare Previous accounting or audit experience, although not essential show more...
