This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and career-driven individual who is currently completing their SAICA articles and is looking to further develop their technical accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. Detail: Description: Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements. Perform audit fieldwork and audit procedures for a diverse portfolio of clients. Prepare working paper files and supporting documentation. Assist with accounting functions for companies, close corporations, trusts, and sole proprietors. Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts. Perform bank, debtor, creditor, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns. Assist with income tax calculations and tax return submissions. Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports. Liaise professionally with clients to obtain financial information and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with SAICA standards, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and applicable legislation. Requirements: Currently completing 2nd Year SAICA Articles. Studying towards or in possession of a BCom Accounting, BAcc, CTA, or equivalent SAICA-accredited qualification. Good understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards. Working knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs. Basic understanding of South African tax legislation. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience working with accounting software such as CaseWare, Xero, Sage, Draftworx, Pastel, or similar will be advantageous. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport preferred.
