• Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities from project initiation through to completion. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contractual requirements, and building regulations. • Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. • Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients. • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company policies. • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards. • Manage project schedules, labour resources, plant, and materials efficiently. • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions where required. • Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, architects, and local authorities. • Control site costs and assist with budget management. • Attend project meetings and provide technical input where necessary. • Ensure proper site documentation, record keeping, and reporting are maintained. • Drive productivity and maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism on site. Minimum Requirements
• SACPCMP registration as a Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM). • National Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field. • Minimum 5–10 years' experience in construction management within commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects. • Proven experience managing construction sites and multidisciplinary teams. • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, project planning, and site operations. • Excellent knowledge of South African building regulations and Occupational Health & Safety Act requirements. • Proficient in MS Office and construction project management software. • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape region. - Experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of JBCC, NEC, or FIDIC contracts.
- Experience with ISO Quality Management Systems.
- Health & Safety certifications advantageous.
