- A well-established motor dealership in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced RSA / Workshop Assistant with previous automotive workshop experience.
- This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, non-trade-tested technician who has practical experience working in a motor dealership service environment.
- The successful candidate will assist with pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), radio and accessory fitments, vehicle preparation and general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle pre-delivery inspections.
- Fit radios and approved vehicle accessories.
- Assist with basic vehicle preparation and maintenance.
- Support qualified Technicians with workshop duties.
- Perform general vehicle checks and inspections.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous automotive workshop or motor dealership service experience is essential.
- Practical mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with vehicle PDIs advantageous.
- Experience fitting radios and vehicle accessories beneficial.
- Ability to perform basic workshop tasks.
- Reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with qualified Technicians.
- Formal Motor Mechanic trade qualification is not required.
Salary & Benefits
- R10,000 – R11,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
