Revit Designer/BIM Technician - Stellenbosch

As part of its global expansion, the company is establishing a new design studio outside Cape Town and is seeking talented BIM/Revit Draughtsmen to join the team

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop signage and wayfinding solutions using Revit.

• Produce signage location plans in AutoCAD and Revit, including tagging, content creation, and bills of quantities.

• Assist in the development of wayfinding strategies.

• Create message schedules and bills of quantities.

• Integrate Rhino models into BIM Revit models.

• Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines.

• Prepare general arrangement drawings for signage designs.

• Ensure BIM model integration, management, and coordination throughout project lifecycles

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with local and international project teams.

• Strong passion for design and proficiency in relevant software platforms.

• Advanced knowledge of Revit Architecture, including the ability to create families, tags, and parameters from scratch

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in BIM/Revit modelling.

• Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Degree qualification in one of the following disciplines:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Industrial Engineering

• Architecture

• Interior Architecture

• Autodesk Professional Certification is essential
