Store Supervisor (Retail Fashion and Luxury Apparel Industry) Location : George Contract Position Duties & Responsibilities

Our client, a leading branded fashion and apparel retailer, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Supervisor to join their new store based in the Garden Route Mall . The successful candidate will be passionate about fashion, customer service, and retail operations, with the ability to lead a team, drive sales, and ensure the store delivers an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.

• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a premium shopping experience.

• Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and customer engagement.

• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and development.

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff.

• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.

• Manage stock control, stock takes, replenishment, and loss prevention.

• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.

• Monitor store housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

• Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.

• Prepare daily sales reports and assist with administrative duties.

• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are adhered to at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).

• Minimum 2–4 years' supervisory experience within a fashion, apparel, or branded retail environment.

• Proven experience leading and motivating a retail sales team.

• Strong sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good numerical ability and administrative skills.

• Experience with POS systems and retail reporting.

• Ability to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Well-groomed, professional, and fashion-conscious.

• Reliable transport to and from the Garden Route Mall in George.

• Must be available to start immediately.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience working for a national fashion or apparel retailer.

• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles.

• Experience with stock management and shrinkage control.
