This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional with a strong passion for luxury fashion, customer service, sales and team leadership to take ownership of a prestigious new store and drive its success from opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the store , ensuring exceptional customer experiences, strong sales results, operational excellence and effective team leadership. Candidates must be available to start immediately. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the store. Drive sales and achieve/exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience and maintain high service standards. Lead, motivate, coach and develop the retail team. Manage staff performance, attendance, scheduling and daily productivity. Ensure the store consistently meets the brand's visual merchandising and presentation standards. Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping, stock presentation and store organisation. Oversee stock management, including receiving, transfers, replenishment, stock counts and loss prevention. Monitor key sales and operational performance indicators and implement strategies to improve results. Manage store administration, reporting and compliance requirements. Ensure company policies, procedures and brand standards are consistently followed. Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat business and brand loyalty. Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of store employees. Ensure the team is knowledgeable about products, collections, promotions and brand values. Work closely with regional/head office management to achieve business objectives. Take ownership of the store's overall commercial performance and reputation. REQUIREMENTS Matric / Grade 12 essential. Relevant retail management qualification will be advantageous. 3–5+ years' retail management experience , preferably within fashion, luxury retail or a premium branded environment. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store performance. Strong leadership and people-management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong commercial awareness and sales ability. Experience managing stock, merchandising and retail operations. High level of professionalism and personal presentation. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment. Passion for fashion, luxury brands and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays. Must be available immediately.
