Start free — we apply for you →- Our client, a furniture and homeware retail group have a new vacancy available for a Store Manager. This role will be based at the store in Paarl, WC.
Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective product demonstrations and by overseeing daily staff operations.
- Schedule, assign, and monitor employee tasks to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the store.
- Maintain accurate bank balances and perform daily cash-up procedures.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Professionally address and resolve customer queries and concerns, both in-store and telephonically.
- Promote effective collaboration and communication with various departments across the group.
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 5 years' retail management experience will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experience with Sage Evolution will be advantageous.
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a retail environment required.
