Our client is seeking an experienced and target-driven Retail Sales Representative to join their team in Parow Industrial, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ retail sales experience, preferably within the confectionery industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, and business development skills are essential, along with computer literacy and a valid driver’s license. REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous retail experience, with experience specializing in confectionery essential.
- Grade 12 qualification required; a Sales or Business qualification will be an advantage.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of sales strategies, customer service, and business development.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Professional, confident, and target-driven personality.
- Computer literate.
DUTIES
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Monitor and report on sales performance.
- Drive sales growth and achieve sales targets.
- Manage and develop key accounts, identifying opportunities to improve customer relationships and revenue.
HOURS
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
