Location: Vredenburg, West Coast, Western Cape
Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Position Purpose
The Sales Assistant will maximize showroom sales by helping customers find the perfect sleep solutions. This role combines expert product knowledge of mattresses and bases with excellent customer service to hit monthly store targets. (Training will be given)
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Consultations: Greet walk-in clients, identify their sleep requirements, and recommend matching mattress & bed technologies. • Sales & Targets: Achieve monthly individual and branch sales quotas. • Showroom Management: Maintain high standards of store presentation by ensuring beds are neatly dressed, floor models are immaculate, and price tags are correctly displayed. • Admin & Transactions: Process cash and card payments accurately, assist clients and coordinate delivery schedules. • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product knowledge, warranties, stock availability, and the specific comfort benefits of different bed brands.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in retail sales environment.
• Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate. • Skills: Strong verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English to serve the local West Coast community effectively. • Attributes: Neat and well-groomed goal-driven, patient, energetic, and capable of working retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
· Base Salary: Basic plus commission.
