Retail Sales Consultants - Hardware Division

Introduction

Hired Recruitment is currently recruiting multiple Retail Sales Consultants for a well-established national retailer opening a new branch in Cape Town.

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals with Matric and a passion for retail and strong product knowledge within the hardware sector. If you have experience assisting customers with hardware, tools, electrical products, lighting, plumbing, paint, or related product ranges, we would like to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and technical advice.

• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships.

• Ensure shelves are correctly stocked, merchandised, and priced.

• Process stock enquiries and assist with stock ordering.

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.

• Use internal stock management and ordering systems.

• Achieve sales targets and contribute to branch growth.

• Maintain product knowledge across relevant departments.

• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.

• Assist with stock counts and general store operations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) – Essential

• Previous retail sales experience within a hardware , building materials, electrical, lighting, tools, plumbing, paint, or related environment

• Experience working with stock control and ordering systems (such as K8 or similar ERP systems)

• Good computer literacy

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Reliable transport to and from work

Package & Remuneration

R 8500.00 - R 20 000 TCTC per Month - Depending on experence
