- Join a leading destination in Cape Town where outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers find their perfect gear. Our client, a well-established retail destination situated in the vibrant V&A Waterfront, is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Assistant to contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the store's dynamic environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers with product selection and inquiries
- Demonstrate and explain Thule products, including installation guidance
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and support regular stock counts
- Support in-store promotions, events, and promotional displays
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, escalating to the Store Manager when needed
- Follow store procedures and policies as set out in the company retail manual
- Stay up to date with product knowledge and promotions
- Support team goals and contribute to a positive store culture
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer-facing sales experience
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
- Passion for outdoor activities, travel, or adventure gear
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer Service, Communication, RPE, Cash Handling, Product Knowledge
