Our client, a retailer in the adult industry, is looking for socially mature, extroverted Retail Sales Assistants to join their in-store team. The ideal candidate has excellent sales and customer service skills, is comfortable engaging in one-on-one conversations with customers, and can confidently discuss adult topics in a professional and mature manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store with sales and product queries
- Provide attentive, one-on-one customer service
- Achieve sales targets
- Conduct stock takes
- Manage cash-ups
- Open and close the store
Requirements
- 1 year of sales experience
- Strong customer service skills, ideally from a one-on-one service environment (candidates from high-volume retail such as Shoprite, Spar, PnP, Woolworths or Mr Price are not suitable for this role)
- Experience working in a smaller staff complement is an advantage
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, POS systems)
- Mature, confident and comfortable discussing adult-related topics
