Retail Sales Agents

Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively approach potential clients, understand their requirements and introduce the Educational Policy offering professionally.
• Promote and sell Educational Policies, explain product features, benefits and applicable terms, and work towards agreed sales and conversion targets.
• Capture and verify client information accurately and completely on the allocated tablet, following the prescribed onboarding process.
• Protect customer information, follow approved sales scripts and compliance requirements, and escalate complaints or concerns to the Sales Team Leader.
• Provide accurate sales reporting, maintain activity records and participate in team meetings, briefings, training and coaching.

Minimum Requirements

Education • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification Experience • 1 Year face to face sales experience • Proven experience in approaching customers and selling within a retail environment • Experience using a tablet or similar digital device, digital data capture and prescribed sales processes Knowledge and Skills • Tablet and basic digital literacy • Accurate customer information and application capture • Sales, influencing, listening and questioning skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Sound problem-solving and organisational ability • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Competencies • Accountability • Customer focus • Attention to detail • Adaptability • Planning and organising • Results orientation • Relationship building • Integrity and professionalism Advantageous Requirements • Previous exposure to financial services or policy-based products would be beneficial Application Process
