Retail Operations Manager

Retail Operations Manager in King Williamstown – This role will Suit a Male resident of King Williamstown ( due to standby/call outs ). The position is available on a FIXED TERM CONTRACT BASIS

Minimum requirements;

·         Must have valid Driver’s license, and own reliable vehicle

·         Must have previous Retail Operations Management experience

·         Must have strong people management skills

·         Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to plan

·         Must be Highly proficient in Excel, reporting and Microsoft

·         Must have basic background of HR policies and procedures

Responsibilities

·         Manage stock control , stock takes, ordering, receiving, bincards and shrinkage.

·         Oversee cash-ups, day-ends, cashier controls and financial reporting .

·         Prepare staff rosters, clockings and payroll information .

·         Lead, supervise, delegate, motivate and discipline staff

·         Conduct staff meetings and liaise with management daily.

·         Ensure high standards of service, hygiene, cleanliness, maintenance and HSEQ compliance .

·         Manage daily operational controls

·         Prepare month-end, branch, stock, food-cost, generator, man-hours and various operational reports .

·         Use Excel, MS Word, Swift, Uniclox and other in-house systems for reporting and administration.

·         Monitor food costs, stock controls, loyalty programme and daily Swift reports .

·         Prepare for and assist with business audits .

·         Handle maintenance issues and report problems

·         Manage and monitor staff training and learner performance

·         Participate in Employment Equity meetings

·         Perform general duties across all departments as required.

·         Maintain effective communication with management, staff and operational teams .
