The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with proven multi‑store management experience, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to drive performance in a fast‑paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across all stores and ensure adherence to company standards. Implement and monitor operational plans, merchandising, hygiene, and stock controls. Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations. Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control. Analyse financial reports, shrinkage, stock variances, and GP performance. Lead, mentor, and develop Store Managers and department heads. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management. Ensure excellent customer service across all stores. Manage stock levels, replenishment, supplier relationships, and shrinkage control. Enforce company policies, security protocols, and loss‑prevention measures. Oversee store maintenance, equipment, and asset protection. Requirements Qualifications Matric (required) Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business Management (advantageous) Experience 5–7 years retail management experience (FMCG preferred) Proven multi‑store or large-format retail management experience Strong financial and commercial decision-making skills Skills & Competencies Leadership & people development Strong operational discipline Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities Analytical reporting ability Customer‑centric mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written & spoken) Able to start immediately Key Attributes Professional, organised, results-driven High integrity and accountability Hands-on leadership style Strong attention to detail Ability to motivate and influence teams Working Conditions Full-time, on-site role with regular travel between stores.
