Join a dynamic property team within an established South African property group and play a key role in supporting retail leasing operations.
We are looking for a Retail Leasing Administrator to support the leasing function by managing documentation, coordinating lease processes and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders within a fast-paced property environment. Duties & Responsibilities
What you'll be responsible for
- Manage the administration of retail leasing processes, including new deals, renewals and lease documentation.
- Support lease renewals by monitoring expiry schedules, preparing documentation and tracking progress through to completion.
- Ensure lease agreements, tenant files and leasing records are accurately maintained.
- Coordinate tenant onboarding processes, including applications, documentation, FICA, KYC and credit checks.
- Liaise with tenants and internal stakeholders to follow up on outstanding documentation, approvals and leasing requirements.
- Provide administrative support for new developments, tenant relocations and leasing activities.
- Assist with reporting, commission tracking and general leasing administration.
What you'll need
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in property administration, with exposure to retail leasing
- Property leasing experience is essential
- Familiarity with lease documentation, tenant onboarding processes and compliance requirements
- Experience with property systems such as PIMS or MDA
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
