Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Opening and closing duties and functions Housekeeping combined with health, safety and hygiene standards Full staff management - training, mentoring and upskilling, rosters, disciplinary actions, management of SOP's Full stock management - stock takes, cycle counts, ordering, stock rotation, Guest relations, dealing with issues / queries and problems and ensuring fast and efficient resolution is found Management reports - cash flow, stock, overheads, etc. Ensure that the establishment is in top order - attend to and sort out any maintenance issues Management of bar stock - opening / closing stock takes, weekly and monthly stock takes, management of wastage and spoilage, procurement Oversight of food safety standards Daily cash up and balancing Banking procedures General administration associated with restaurant management Detail: Qualifications : Matric coupled with F&B certificate (would be advantageous) Fluent in English and Afrikaans Fully computer literate 5 years in a bistro style dining restaurant within a managerial role Own reliable vehicle Competencies : High Energy Dynamic Presentable Well spoken Leadership abilities Problem solving skills Organized Multi-tasking skills Passionate about hospitality / tourism industry Strong administration skills show more...
