Restaurant General Manager (RGM) - OR Tambo

Main Purpose

Join KFC Rohloff Group as a Restaurant General Manager and take ownership of a busy, fast-paced restaurant. You will lead and develop your team, deliver excellent customer service, drive sales and profitability, and ensure high operational standards are maintained. Through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management, you will create a positive team culture while achieving business goals and delivering great customer experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion CHAMPS standards by leading the team to consistently exceed expectations in Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, and Speed of Service.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and Business Scorecard performance through effective operational and financial management.
• Manage restaurant shifts, labour scheduling, stock control, and cost management to optimise efficiency and business results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, food safety, health and safety, security, and cash control standards.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, implementing corrective actions to achieve targets and continuous improvement.
• Lead, recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering operational excellence.
• Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable work environment by leading with heart and role-modelling company values.
• Implement and support local store marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and drive restaurant performance.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, company assets, and funds at all times.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, customer service, and team performance while upholding KFC brand standards

What You’ll Need

• A Matric (National Senior Certificate) with admission to a Higher Certificate, Diploma, or Degree programme.
• Experience: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Branch Manager, Manager
• 3–5 years’ management experience within Hospitality or the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry
• A genuine passion for product quality, customer service excellence, and pride in the KFC brand
• Within 25km from job
• Clear criminal record and credit record
