Key Performance Areas

  • The Resort Manager will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the resort and its associated facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the resort and all associated facilities.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance and upkeep of the resort are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Managing and monitoring departmental budgets and processing relevant financial and operational documentation.
  • Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Managing online booking platforms and overseeing bookings across various booking periods.
  • Leading, motivating, and managing resort staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Working shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operational requirements dictate.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Recognised Food and Beverage Management Certificate.
  • Minimum of five 5 years' senior management experience within a hotel or resort environment with a strong Food & Beverage operations component.
  • Proven experience in operational management and service excellence.
  • Sound knowledge of budget management.
  • Experience in asset management and stock control.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage management, staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Own accommodation close to the property
