- The Resort Manager will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the resort and its associated facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing the daily operations of the resort and all associated facilities.
- Ensuring that all maintenance and upkeep of the resort are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Managing and monitoring departmental budgets and processing relevant financial and operational documentation.
- Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Managing online booking platforms and overseeing bookings across various booking periods.
- Leading, motivating, and managing resort staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Working shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operational requirements dictate.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Recognised Food and Beverage Management Certificate.
- Minimum of five 5 years' senior management experience within a hotel or resort environment with a strong Food & Beverage operations component.
- Proven experience in operational management and service excellence.
- Sound knowledge of budget management.
- Experience in asset management and stock control.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Experience in Food & Beverage management, staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Own accommodation close to the property
