Job Title: Residential Accountant Start Date: 2026-08-06 - 2026-09-05 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA026205 Sectors: Finance Location: SA - Gauteng , Pretoria East Salary: Brief: Pretoria East Residential Accountant Market Related Oversee accurate financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and statutory compliance across a property portfolio. Detail: Minimum requirements: Matric Relevant Qualifications Proficient in XERO Accounting Software Previous property management or residential property management experience Experience in financial commentary and portfolio performance insights to Property Managers, landlords, and owners DUTIES: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management accounts and budget variance analysis. Maintain the general ledger by processing journals, accruals, depreciation, and financial adjustments. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs and support year-end audits. Manage cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and owners' distributions to ensure sound financial management. Calculate and submit VAT returns while assisting with corporate and provisional tax requirements. Calculate management fees, commissions, and other financial recoveries. Provide financial analysis and reporting to property managers, landlords, and stakeholders to support decision-making. Assist with budgeting, capital expenditure planning, and financial forecasting. Liaise with external auditors and ensure accurate, compliant financial records.
