Job Title: Reservations Manager Start Date: 2026-07-20 - 2026-10-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent WDH002434 Sectors: Reservations Location: Northern Cape , Kalahari Salary: Brief: A renowned private game reserve in the southern Kalahari is seeking an experienced and service-driven RESERVATIONS MANAGER to join their team Detail: This is a senior role for someone who can run the full reservations function across multiple luxury camps, guiding every booking from first enquiry through to arrival while managing relationships with trade partners and agents. You'll need real depth in luxury safari reservations, solid systems knowledge, and the leadership skills to guide a small team. Core Criteria: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in reservations or front office within luxury hospitality or the safari industry Solid understanding of Southern African travel, safari logistics and luxury guest expectations Proficient in reservations systems such as Panstrat, NightsBridge or similar Strong leadership, team management and mentoring ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages an advantage) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure Genuine passion for luxury travel, wildlife and conservation Core Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily reservations operations across all camps on the reserve Ensure accurate, efficient and personalised handling of bookings from enquiry through to pre-arrival Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, agents and DMCs Monitor occupancy, booking pace and yield to support revenue optimisation Compile reports for forecasting, budgeting and performance reviews Oversee data accuracy, payment tracking and booking integrity within the reservations system Maintain and improve SOPs to uphold the property's service standards Coordinate with finance and hospitality teams for smooth pre-arrival planning Lead, train and mentor the reservations team On Offer: Single, live-in accommodation Staff flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town The chance to join one of South Africa's most respected conservation-focused hospitality operations show more...
