Reporting Manager

Introduction

The Reporting Manager is responsible for accurate financial, management and performance reporting that gives leadership a clear, reliable view of business performance across our agricultural distribution network. The role owns reporting integrity, strengthens controls and analytics, and turns financial data into insight, working in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Microsoft BC) and modern analytical and modelling tools. This role reports to the Executive Manager: Finance & Risk.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing monthly management, performance and group reporting packs

• Drive the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of financial reporting

• Develop reporting, analytics and dashboards that support commercial decisions

• Strengthen financial controls and reporting governance

• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

• Support audit and statutory reporting requirements

• Build automated, data-driven reporting in Microsoft BC and modern business intelligence (BI) tools

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience

• 6+ years' financial and management reporting experience

• Commercial or agricultural industry experience strongly preferred

• Microsoft BC experience preferred

Education

• Professional qualification strongly preferred: CA(SA), SAIPA or CIMA

• Strong commercial/agricultural experience considered over full qualification

Skills

• Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills

• Strong controls and governance discipline

• Advanced Excel and data modelling ability

• Confident in Microsoft BC

• Open to AI tools, automation and modern BI and analytics

• Clear communicator who turns data into insight

• High accuracy and attention to detail

• Structured, deadline-driven and proactive
