MUST have a valid South African driver's license and at least 2-3years
mechanical experience on light passenger petrol and diesel vehicles.
Applicant who has previously worked in an aftermarket service environment
such as BOSCH, e-Cars, Car Service City, Car Care Clinic etc. will be given
preference.
Requirements
* Must have knowledge on a wide range of vehicles. BMW, Toyota, VW,
Hyundai, Ford etc
* Be able to work independently without supervision, be driven,
reliable and proactive
* Carry out service and repairs to the highest standard within the
required standard industry flat rates
* Computer diagnostic a must
* Team Player and great communication skills
* Must be fluent in English
* Writing and reading skills
* Must be of sober habits
* No Criminal record
* Reliable and honest
* Troubleshooting skills
* Great at fault finding
* Good traceable references
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 07:30-17:30

Responsibility: Assist qualified mechanics and technicians with daily workshop tasks. Assist with vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance. Prepare vehicles and work areas before repairs and services. Assist with removing and fitting vehicle components under supervision. Perform basic mechanical tasks as instructed by the Workshop Manager or qualified mechanic. Check and maintain workshop tools and equipment. Keep the workshop, tools and work areas clean, organised and safe. Assist with moving and positioning vehicles safely within the workshop. Collect, clean and organise tools, parts and equipment. Assist with identifying and collecting required spare parts. Follow all company health, safety and workshop procedures. Report damaged tools, equipment or vehicle issues to the Workshop Manager. Handle customer vehicles with care and ensure they are kept secure. Assist with quality-control checks and ensure completed work is ready for inspection. Dispose of waste, used parts and workshop materials correctly. Support the workshop team with general duties when required. Maintain professional conduct and good timekeeping. Perform any other reasonable duties related to the operation of the workshop.
