Rekall Technologies is a United States–based Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) seeking a reliable Remote Phone Receptionist to handle all incoming calls, voicemails, and help to create tickets for our Helpdesk Technicians. We are based in America, so this position would be fully remote. We are looking for someone to cover the hours between 8am-5pm EST.

- Switchboard Management: Operate company multi-line telephone systems, screening, answering, and directing incoming calls to the appropriate departments or staff members.
- Message Handling: Record and relay accurate messages via email, internal messaging platforms, or corporate communication groups (e.g., Microsoft Teams) when staff are unavailable.
- General Correspondence: Manage company inboxes, respond to general public queries, and forward specific requests to the relevant units.

- Education: A National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12)
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years of proven experience in a receptionist, switchboard operating, or customer service role.
- Language Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment (printers, scanners).
- Telephone Etiquette: A clear, polite, and professional speaking voice with a high customer-service orientation.
- Organization & Multitasking: Ability to handle high call volumes without losing attention to detail.
- Composure: Capacity to remain calm and empathetic when dealing with frustrated or demanding clients.
- Discretion: High level of integrity when handling confidential corporate and personal information.
