Product Vision and Strategy: o Defining the roadmap for Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS) or Risk Management solutions specifically designed to monitor IoT devices, sensors, and networks. o Identifying market needs for risk management in IoT and creating a strategic vision to address those needs, such as improving security, uptime, or data integrity.
2. Risk Monitoring: o Ensuring the system is capable of real-time monitoring of IoT devices to detect performance issues, security breaches, or malfunctions. o Developing features that assess IoT-related risks like device failures, data breaches, or environmental hazards, and implementing mitigation strategies.
3. Security and Compliance: o Addressing IoT security risks, such as unauthorized access or attacks on connected devices, through robust monitoring, alerting, and security protocols. o Ensuring the RMS complies with relevant regulations and industry standards for IoT devices, such as data privacy laws or cybersecurity frameworks.
4. IoT Data Management: o Ensuring that the RMS can collect, store, and analyze vast amounts of data generated by IoT devices in real-time, providing actionable insights into potential risks. o Leveraging machine learning and analytics to predict failures or security threats in IoT ecosystems.
5. User Experience and Interface: o Designing intuitive interfaces for users (e.g., IoT operators or managers) to easily monitor device performance, detect anomalies, and respond to risk-related events. o Ensuring the RMS is easy to integrate with different IoT devices and platforms, providing a seamless experience for users.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: o Working with IoT hardware manufacturers, network engineers, data scientists, and security experts to integrate risk management features into IoT products. o Coordinating with sales, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure that the product meets customer requirements and addresses common challenges in IoT deployments.
