Job Description Reliability Engineer – 3-Month Contract Location: Germiston, Gauteng Contract: 3 Months, potentially extendable Industry: Gas / Pipeline / Energy We are looking for an experienced Reliability Engineer to support reliability and asset integrity activities within a large-scale gas pipeline and operational environment. Key Responsibilities
- Implement and facilitate Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programmes.
- Define RBI boundaries and validate asset/equipment data.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary RBI reviews using PCMS and/or PIMSlider .
- Develop RBI procedures, work instructions and governance documentation.
- Facilitate and develop FMEA and Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS).
- Develop and optimise maintenance plans and task lists.
- Analyse reliability and maintenance data using SAP PM .
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Inspection teams.
- Support site inspections and field verification where required.
Requirements
- 8+ years' relevant Reliability Engineering experience .
- BSc/BEng/BTech Mechanical Engineering .
- Proven experience in RBI, FMEA and EMS .
- Working knowledge of PCMS and/or PIMSlider .
- Strong SAP PM experience, including equipment masters, functional locations, maintenance plans, task lists, notifications and work orders.
- RBI, FMEA, RCM, Asset Management or Reliability Engineering certifications are advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence .
- Must reside in Gauteng .
