- To be responsible for the total nursing care of the patients in their care.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Ensure that health care is provided to all patients according to company policies, procedures and standards.
- To plan, organise, and ensure the control of all activities within the position's framework, and ensure that staff adhere to the company's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is administered according to standard operational procedures.
- Ensure that skills development plans are in place for staff and that continuous training is provided according to need.
- Ensure that all quality standards and control measures are known and that it is adhered to.
- To contribute actively to teamwork and ensure the efficiency of the team continuously.
- To be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Must have a general nursing diploma or degree.
- Must be registered with SANC.
- The candidate must be willing to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the Unit.
