- LEGiT is looking for an exceptional Regional Operations Human Resources Business Partner to partner with Operations in driving performance through people. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Executive and Field Managers to translate business strategy into outstanding people outcomes across the regions.
Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualification.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 3+ years' HR Management / HR Generalist experience in retail operations.
- Strong Industrial Relations, recruitment and performance management experience.
- Practical multi-store retail understanding.
- Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation.
- Strong coaching, communication and stakeholder skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and working knowledge of the SAGE 300 system.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations Executive and Field Managers to align people strategies with regional business objectives.
- Provide strategic and operational HR support across the retail regions, driving employee performance, engagement and productivity.
- Coach and advise Store Managers and operational leaders on leadership, performance management and employee relations.
- Lead and guide Industrial Relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, poor performance, appeals and operational requirements, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
- Lead recruitment for key operational roles and support talent identification, succession planning and leadership development.
- Monitor workforce requirements, headcount, staffing models, payroll and leave management to support operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular store visits to identify people-related risks, opportunities and operational requirements.
- Provide HR insights and recommendations to support workforce planning, budgeting and business decision-making.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, processes and legislative requirements across the region.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and champion the LEGiT culture, values and people agenda.
