Regional Nursing Education Manager - Eastern Cape

Introduction

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Nursing Education Manager to lead and drive excellence in nursing education across the region. This role requires advanced qualifications, strong leadership, and a proven track record in facilitation and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage Nursing Education Programs – Oversee accredited training, plan student numbers, and drive high pass rates.

• Student Recruitment & Marketing – Achieve enrolment targets and ensure compliance with selection criteria.

• People Leadership – Provide visible leadership, recruit and retain staff, and inspire positive work culture.

• Financial Oversight – Manage student fee administration and monitor overheads efficiently.

• Relationship Building – Maintain strong ties with regulatory bodies, forums, and community projects.

• Operational Excellence – Ensure smooth functioning of the learning centre and implement solutions.

• Quality & Compliance – Maintain SANC accreditation, oversee evaluations, and address training gaps.

• Governance & Risk – Ensure compliance with SANC, DOE, CHE processes and support audits.

• Research Development – Drive the research agenda within the learning centre and region.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Master’s degree in Nursing.

• Nursing Education & Management qualification.

• 5+ years’ experience in education/facilitation.

• Assessor & Moderator SANC reg.

• Knowledge of education legislation & private healthcare industry.
