Are you ready to lead a critical logistics and customer service operation that drives efficiency and customer satisfaction in a dynamic manufacturing environment?
A leading company in the manufacturing and FMCG sectors, committed to operational excellence and customer focus, is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Manager to oversee their KwaZulu-Natal operations. This pivotal role involves managing diverse teams, optimizing logistics, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.
Duties
- Ensure effective fleet management aligned with RTQS and RTMS, including justified commercial fleet purchases and forklift fleet oversight
- Manage the quality and accuracy of product delivery, internal sales teams, and customer interactions
- Oversee raw materials warehouses and teams to Polyoak standards, maintaining optimal housekeeping across all departments
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes, report variances, and investigate customer returns, delivery failures, and incomplete loads
- Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Develop and manage budgets for capex, raw materials, and distribution, maintaining strict adherence within financial targets
- Implement cost management systems to reduce, measure, and control expenses
- Actively promote employee morale and engagement, fostering a positive work environment
- Report on key logistics ratios and operational costs, providing strategic insights to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with FSSC, ISO, and other standards as part of daily KPIs
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role within manufacturing or FMCG industries
- Relevant Supply chain degree essential (not negotiable)
- Proven experience in fleet, warehouse, and cost management
- Strong budgeting and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and team management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple departments and build stakeholder relationships

- RTQS and RTMS standards
- ISO and FSSC compliance
