Our client, a leading player in the property and retail sectors, seeks a dedicated Regional Leasing Consultant to help expand and optimize their retail portfolio.

Duties

• Source, pursue, and close leasing deals across the Gauteng retail portfolio.

• Build and nurture relationships with tenants, brokers, and property professionals.

• Conduct comprehensive market research, including competitor analysis and market trend assessments.

• Negotiate and finalize lease agreements with tenants.

• Support marketing efforts by providing market feedback and vacancy insights.

• Coordinate with the leasing administrator for documentation and deal processing.

• Analyze tenant mix and recommend improvements for retail centres.

• Utilise property management systems to record leads and track activity.

• Provide weekly updates on leasing activities and deal progress.

• Maintain a strong understanding of current market conditions and trends.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in property leasing.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent communication and networking abilities.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Proven experience in market research and deal closing.

• Experience within property, retail, industrial, or office sectors.
