Please note we are seeking a candidate who has a strong background in the construction sector, who understands a project environment and related financial impacts of various regions. Detail: KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification being advantageous. You must be able to work independently, take ownership of regional financial performance and operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels. You will be responsible for regional financial management, project financial oversight, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, profitability analysis, tender financial evaluation and international/Group reporting, while providing financial leadership and support to regional Financial Managers and finance teams. You will have solid working knowledge and expertise in project-based financial management, tender and bid evaluation, project costing, cost-to-complete forecasting, management accounting, financial modelling and commercial analysis, ideally gained within a construction, infrastructure, engineering or related project-driven environment. Strong understanding of project profitability, cost control, budgeting and forecasting, working capital, cash-flow management, financial risk, commercial contracts and the financial implications of new projects and tenders is essential. You will have proven experience in consolidating financial information and preparing international/Group reporting, together with the ability to analyse financial performance, identify variances and provide commercially focused recommendations to senior management. You must have demonstrated leadership experience, including managing, mentoring and supporting Financial Managers and finance teams, with the ability to build strong relationships across operations, commercial, procurement, sales and project management. You must have a clear criminal and credit record.
