The ideal candidate must have energy, work well within a team and have a passion for service industry. Key duties include but not limited to: Responsible for the installation and maintenance of all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment on-site Carry out compliance testing as per manufacturer specs Plan, allocate and oversee any work carried out by contractors Ensure a high standard of workmanship at all times Assist Tech Manager to ensure maximum efficiency Assist with Pool attendant with minor pool maintenance if and when needed General maintenance duties Assist plumber as and when required Detail: Qualification : Minimum qualification Grade 12 OR equivalent and recognized apprenticeship certification as a qualified HVAC technician 2 years working experience as a handman in a resort and electrical environment Valid drivers licence Fluent in English and Afrikaans Competencies : Strong communication Guest / Customer service driven Ability to work to deadlines and manage breakdowns effectively and efficiently Problem solving ability excellent time-keeping Ability to work weekends and public holidays show more...
