The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and servicing to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Detail: Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on yellow equipment and heavy-duty trucks. Conduct fault finding on diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns efficiently. Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance according to OEM standards. Attend to field service breakdowns and emergency repairs when required. Complete job cards and maintenance reports accurately. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain workshop cleanliness, tools, and equipment. Assist with mentoring apprentices and junior mechanics. Minimum Requirements Qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate. Minimum 10 years' experience working on yellow equipment and trucks. Experience with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, Bell, Volvo, Hitachi, Scania, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, or similar. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Valid driver's license (Code 10 or 14 advantageous). Willingness to work overtime and attend breakdowns when required.
