Recruitment Officer - Montague Gardens - Cape Town

Location: Cape Town

• We're looking for an energetic and organised Recruitment Officer to support high-volume recruitment across Pedro's stores in Cape Town .
• This is a hands-on recruitment role for someone who enjoys working at pace, engaging with people and making sure our stores have the right talent, at the right time.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for crew and entry-level store positions .
• Support recruitment for supervisory and junior management roles .
• Screen applications and conduct telephonic and in-person interviews.
• Proactively source candidates and build talent pipelines for recurring store vacancies.
• Partner with Store and Operations Managers to understand hiring requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate interviews, hiring days and high-volume recruitment initiatives.
• Manage offers, pre-employment checks and recruitment documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate and vacancy information on recruitment systems.
• Keep candidates and hiring managers informed throughout the recruitment process.

What You'll Need

• Matric / Grade 12 – essential.
• A Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field is advantageous.
• 1–3 years' recruitment or HR administration experience , ideally within a high-volume or multi-site environment.
• Experience recruiting or screening for entry-level/frontline positions .
• Retail, FMCG, hospitality or another high-turnover environment would be advantageous.
• Experience using an ATS or recruitment database .
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
