Readymix Sales Representative

About the Role

We are currently looking for a high-performing  Sales Representative  specialising in the  construction materials sector specifically ready mix . This is a fast-paced, field heavy role requiring a candidate who can confidently navigate construction sites, build relationships with Site Managers, and secure commercial supply contracts.

Areas Covered: Rustenburg, Brits, Rosslyn.

1. Main focus of the role

• New Business Development:  Proactively identify and pursue new commercial, residential, and civil infrastructure construction projects and specifically mining contracts.

• Relationship Management:  Manage and grow existing partnerships with main contractors, developers, engineers, and sub-contractors.

• Site & Plant Liaison:  Act as the critical link between the client’s on-site requirements and our internal batching plants and logistics teams to ensure accurate product delivery.

2. Minimum Candidate Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Industry Experience:  Minimum of  2 to 3 years of proven sales experience  not necessarily within ready-mix concrete, cement, aggregates, or technical building materials. It would be advantages if the candidate has a good sales track record.

• Technical Knowledge:  A strong understanding of concrete mix designs, product applications, slump requirements, and general construction site operations is not a requirement as this can be trained.

• Mobility:  Valid  Code 8 (Class B) driver’s licence  and own  reliable vehicle . The role requires significant daily travel to sites and clients.

• Education:  Grade 12 / Matric certificate. A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is highly advantageous.

Ideal Profile

Self-motivated "hunter" who prefers being out on-site. Candidates coming directly from ready-mix suppliers or related heavy building material manufacturers are preferred.
