Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely and in accordance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and retrieve pallets from high-level racking systems.
- Replenish picking locations and retail floor stock as required.
- Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Accurately receive, locate, and store incoming goods.
- Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
- Verify stock quantities and report discrepancies immediately.
- Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles where applicable.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report defects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles, storage locations, and work areas.
- Ensure pallets and stock are securely stored and stacked safely.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards, and equipment faults promptly.
- Support a culture of safe work practices throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with picking, packing, loading, and unloading activities when required.
- Support warehouse and retail operations during peak periods.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
