A well-established company based in Queensburgh, Durban is looking for experienced Forklift Drivers and Reach Truck Driver s to join their growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently.
- Load and offload trucks in accordance with company procedures.
- Move, stack, and store stock accurately within the warehouse.
- Replenish picking locations and transport stock to designated areas.
- Assist with order picking and dispatch activities when required.
- Conduct daily pre-operational equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Follow all warehouse health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform stock movements using RF scanners or warehouse management systems where applicable.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control when required.
- Complete tasks within specified deadlines while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating a reach truck in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Valid Reach Truck Licence
- Previous experience with loading, offloading, stacking, replenishment, and stock movement.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution centre.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
