Detail: Full Quotes Function for the Group including (but not limited to) the following, ensuring that the Quotes team supply accurate and timeous quotes: People/Team Management – Delegating tasks and ensuring required operating procedures are followed Quotes Processing – limiting company's risk by ensuring accurate and complete pricing. Performing detailed, accurate, complex and profitable pricing on deals timeously Administration – Receipt of RFQ'S/quote requests through the RFQ inboxes, passing on the information to the correct persons for immediate action Communication and Reporting – Upwards with Commercial Manager as well as colleagues, sub-ordinates and Branch/Divisional Managers Complete quotes /hi-light and query unusual information requests with relevant Product Manager or Sales Manager Source item code from relevant Managers/Specialists if not provided Maintain an accurate filing system with specific reference to quote/request, as well as updating of schedules Attend to general secretarial requirements as well as assist with Tenders when required Effective screening of telephone calls, taking of accurate messages, complete RFQ, handle queries and if possible refer caller to someone who can assist Saving and filing of quotes generated, hard copies and electronic copies, as needed Improve and ensure quality of all quotes– appearance and content Assist in completing SBD forms as and when required Supervision and guidance of the Quotes Department Staff Annual Performance Review and KPI's for the team Qualifications A Grade 12 certificate is a minimum requirement Financial Diploma would be advantageous show more...
