Key Responsibility Areas

  • Coordinates tasks and activities associated with the quantity survey activities undertaken in the division.
  • Prepares bill of quantities and project estimates.
  • Conducts audit investigations into current projects.
  • Collaborates with Design Engineer on private development projects.
  • Compiles material schedules in conjunction with standard design drawings for various water components.
  • Assesses and reviews material, plant and labour rates on quantity surveying computer programme.
  • Receives, records and allocates incoming projects.
  • Sources costs and technical information from the fabrication workshop on specialised work for capital projects.
  • Prepares contract documentation and monitoring of costs and cash flows on projects.
  • Attends to specific administrative activities associated with the functions of the division.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma NQF Level 6 in Building or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 1 Year relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
