- Coordinates tasks and activities associated with the quantity survey activities undertaken in the division.
- Prepares bill of quantities and project estimates.
- Conducts audit investigations into current projects.
- Collaborates with Design Engineer on private development projects.
- Compiles material schedules in conjunction with standard design drawings for various water components.
- Assesses and reviews material, plant and labour rates on quantity surveying computer programme.
- Receives, records and allocates incoming projects.
- Sources costs and technical information from the fabrication workshop on specialised work for capital projects.
- Prepares contract documentation and monitoring of costs and cash flows on projects.
- Attends to specific administrative activities associated with the functions of the division.

Qualifications Essential Requirements:
- Diploma NQF Level 6 in Building or any other related and equivalent qualification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 1 Year relevant experience.
- Computer Literacy.
